All embassy visa fees that Capital Link Services pay on your behalf incur a $6 money order purchase fee, and 2.5% credit card processing fee.

Passport
You must send your physical passport; copies cannot be used for visa issuance. Your passport must be valid and contain sufficient blank visa pages. Visas are stamps affixed to the blank "visa" pages of your passport. Amendment pages (clearly marked as such) in the back of your passport are not acceptable for visa issuance. The passport's expiration date must be greater than six months from the date you plan to depart the country you intend to visit. If your passport does not meet the requirements, you must renew your passport or obtain a new one prior to obtaining the visa.

Passport-Style Photographs
Two (2) Passport photographs must meet Passport Photograph Regulations; recently taken and showing current appearance with a white background. Ensure that there is no damage to these photos and do not staple or glue the photos to the application.

Visa Requirements
♦ The applicant's passport. It should be valid at least for 6 months. Travel Documents or Identity Certificates should be valid for one year at least. Holders of ♦ Travel Document or Identity Certificate should have at least one-year residence stamped on it.
♦ Two (2) application forms, with an original photograph on each (scanned photos are not accepted).
♦ A Business letter/Letter Of Invitation from the Business/Company in Syria stating the applicants details (name, passport number etc etc), as well as the reason and dates of travel, this letter must be written on the Companies own letter head and must have an original signature if possible.
♦ Holders of non-Australian passports should obtain a letter of authenticity for the passport from the embassy of their country in Australia certifying the validity of the passport and that the information therein is correct (This item is very important). New Zealand passport holders, who reside in New Zealand, should provide a letter of authenticity for the passport from the Department of Internal Affairs in New Zealand.
♦ Every person younger than 18 years, whose father is Syrian, needs a letter of approval from his father allowing him to exit Syria, if not accompanied by him. Along with a copy of the father's passport and AU$ 9.

♦Tourist groups that consist of eight persons or more are entitled for a free group visa, provided that the trip to Syria including entry and exit is made in one group. To obtain this, fill out the visa application for each one and send a letter to the Embassy expressing the wish for that group to travel together to Syria.

♦Double-check carefully all the above mentioned items carefully before sending your application, because the Embassy will not process any request if it does not satisfy all the mentioned requirements, and in that case the documents will be sent back by the attached return envelope to be completed and the Embassy will not be responsible for any delay.

♦Syrian citizens who hold Australian passports do not need a visa, provided they present at the airport upon departure from Australia any Syrian documents showing their Syrian nationality (ID, passport-expired passport is accepted) or driving license. Syrian civil record is not sufficient because it does not contain a photo. This is required by airlines authorities in Australia to make sure of the passenger’s Syrian origin.

Important Note:
The validity of the visa starts from the day it was issued by the Embassy. The single entry visa expires after 3 months from the date of issuance by the Embassy, while the multiple entry visa expires after 6 months.

The above estimated fees are for Consulate/Embassy visa fee and CLS processing fee:

• The fees above are quoted for ONE Australian passport holder traveler
• For payment of visa fees via money order, an additional $7.00 will be charged for the purchase of the money order
• For return courier, additional fees will be incurred.

Once the applicant has completed all required forms and documentation, signed were applicable; please provide it along with the applicant's passport to CLS' office in Canberra. After all of the correct documentation has been received, we will begin the visa processing stage in association with the Embassy or Consulate
