You must send your physical passport; copies cannot be used for visa issuance. Your passport must be valid and contain sufficient blank visa pages. Visas are stamps affixed to the blank "visa" pages of your passport. Amendment pages (clearly marked as such) in the back of your passport are not acceptable for visa issuance. The passport's expiration date must be greater than six months from the date you plan to depart the country you intend to visit. If your passport does not meet the requirements, you must renew your passport or obtain a new one prior to obtaining the visa.
Passport-Style Photographs
Passport photographs must meet Passport Photograph Regulations; recently taken and showing current appearance with a white background. Ensure that there is no damage to these photos and do not staple or glue the photos to the application.
Visa Requirements
1-Valid passport with at least 6 months validity (blank page necessary for visa stamp)
2-One business visa application form
3-Two (2) Passport size photographs
4-Appropriate visa applicable fee, please see below for current prices and acceptable forms of payment.
5-Letter of invitation from Myanmar Organization/Company.
6-Covering letter from applicants' company requesting visa issuance, giving the following information:
-Type of business, applicant's name, passport details & position in company
-Name of Myanmar organization/company where business/discussions are to be held
-Travel dates giving departure date from Australia & flights & dates in & out of Myanmar.
7-Travel Iitnerary-Air-way ticket must also be provided.
Please allow sufficient time for processing of visas. Visas are issued for a stay in Myanmar of 10 weeks and are valid for entry within three months from date of issue.
Note
Multiple journey entry visas– Companies with established long-term ongoing business in Myanmar may apply for a Multiple Journey Entry visa for their personnel, valid for a period of 12 months for as many entries as necessary.
- Company letter & invitation must request MJEV and state reason.

Embassy Visa Fee
Embassy fee is $65.00. Cash, money order, bank cheque or company cheque are the only forms of payment accepeted by the embassy, all cheques and Money Orders made Payable to “EMBASSY OF MYANMAR".
Processing Time
All visas can be processed within 10 working days, given that all the required documents are provided and all conditions are met.
Once all applicable required forms and documentation has been fully completed and signed were applicable (as per above) and your passport is supplied, please send to our office in Canberra and we will begin the visa processing stage in association with the embassy
