Passport
You must send your physical passport- copies cannot be used for visa issuance. Your passport's expiration date must be greater than six months from the date you plan to depart the country you intend to work and must contain at least 2 adjacent blank pages. Foreign passport holders (i.e. not Australian or N.Z.) must submit an immigration residency permit showing at least two years of residency.
Passport-Style Photographs
You must provide passport photographs that meet Passport Photograph Regulations; recently taken, showing current appearance on a plain, white background. Please ensure that there is no damage to these photos. Please do not staple or glue the photos to the application form.
Business Visa Requirements
♦ Valid Passport for at least 6 months from date of intended travel
♦ 1 passport sized photo up to the standard for a new passport
♦ 1 fully completed application form online www.vfs-in-au.net/, printed off signed and dated where applicable
♦ Business Visa Checklist completed and signed where applicable
♦ A travel itinerary showing dates of travel in and out of the country
♦ 6 Month visa - Australian Business Letter from the Australian company/organisation stating reason of travel and contact details supporting your travel purpose addressed to the Embassy
♦ 1 Year visa- A letter of invitation from the company/business in India and Australia stating the reasons for travel and the applicant’s details. These letters must be completed on the company’s letter head and must be signed
♦ 5 Year visa: Letter of Undertaking from the Company in Australia and India as well as documentary proof of a joint venture/MOU. 5 Year business visas can be issued to CEOs, entrepreneurs and businessmen who have Joint Venture/MOU or similar long-term business commitments in India requiring frequent visits over extended periods.
♦ For non-Australian Passport Holders must provide proof that you have resided in Australia for 2 years or more.

Processing Time
Visa Applications are generally processed within five (5) working days. However, in certain specific cases processing times may be longer This is at the sole discretion of the CGI/HCI authority.
Once all applicable required forms and documentation has been fully completed and signed were applicable (as per above) and your passport is supplied, please send to our office in Canberra and we will begin the visa processing stage in association with the embassy. Please also ensure that once you have completed all applicable forms and supplied your passport that you also fully complete and signed
