General Information
Passport You must send your physical passport; copies cannot be used for visa issuance. Your passport must be valid and contain sufficient blank visa pages. Visas are stamps affixed to the blank "visa" pages of your passport. Amendment pages (clearly marked as such) in the back of your passport are not acceptable for visa issuance. The passport's expiration date must be greater than six months from the date you plan to depart the country you intend to visit. If your passport does not meet the requirements, you must renew your passport or obtain a new one prior to obtaining the visa.
Passport-Style Photographs Passport photographs must meet Passport Photograph Regulations; recently taken and showing current appearance on a white, plain background. Ensure that there is no damage to these photos and do not staple or glue the photos to the application.
Visa Requirements ♦ Applicants Passport with a minimum 6 months validity remaining.
♦ One (1) Application form (BF-12): Please ensure that this form is fully completed, signed and dated were applicable. Also, if a question does not apply to you please ensure that you write 'not applicable'. Incomplete application forms will be returned without visa).
♦ Two (2) recently taken passport size photographs, 50 mm high X 40 mm wide or close to this.
♦ Appropriate applicable visa fee, please see below for current fees and acceptable forms of payment.
♦Letter of Invitation from Bangladesh Business Organisation/ Establishment or letter from local Business organization with ABN identification. Letter must have applicants details, reason and dates of travel and must be printed on the Companies own letter head.

Acceptable forms of payment include; Bank Cheque/Postal Money Order in favour of "Bangladesh High Commission, Canberra". Cash or personal check or company cheque is not accepted. Visa applicants holding passports of other countries, may contact our office to be advised of the appropriate and updated visa fee.
Processing Time Visas can be processed in a minimum of three (3) working days assuming that the required documents are provided and that the terms and conditions are met. Once all applicable required forms and documentation has been fully completed and signed were applicable (as per above) and your passport is supplied, please send to our office in Canberra and we will begin the visa processing stage in association with the embassy. Please also ensure that once you have completed all applicable forms and supplied your passport that you also fully complete and signed
